Instructions:

1) Look at the 4 categories  NARRATIVE, HYPOTHETICAL, DESCRIPTIVE & EXPOSITORY.

2) Each category has a list of Topics in the ‘Topic Bank’. You must complete 1 TOPIC from each CATEGORY. Your teacher will tell you what topic you will be studying. YOU MUST study a total of 5 TOPICS by the end of the semester.

3) Each TOPIC has a list of tasks that should be completed.
a) Listening
Listen to the model example and choose from PROSODIC SHADOWING, CONTENT-BASED SHADOWING or DICTATION/DICTO-GLOSS.
b) Useful Expressions
Practice speaking these useful expressions and then PARAPHRASE 3/5.
c) Speaking
In pairs practice the questions and WRITE or PARAPHRASE the answers.
d) Writing
Using the given writing structure and the step-by-step writing sheet WRITE your AUDIO script.
e) Record Audio
Record your script. Make sure to add these details before sending   [ student ID + topic + teacher code ]   eg.  [ hgd074g + club activities + JM ] f) Peer Review
Review the script and recorded speech in pairs or a group. Make sure to give a POSITIVE comment.
